Kaizer Chiefs supporters are disillusioned with the former Al Ahly assistant coach, whom they perceive as lacking fresh ideas for the club.
Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr. has recently announced that the team will have a new coach next season, indicating that interim tactician Cavin Johnson will revert to his role in nurturing talent.
However, it appears that having Johnson associated with the club in any capacity does not satisfy the Glamour Boys fans, who are calling for the tactician’s dismissal.
They argue that the 65-year-old will not assist the team in achieving its goals.
Here are the opinions of fans;
The head of Youth Development lacks faith in young players

Declare the new coach’s appointment before the season wraps up
Kaizer Chiefs can announce the new coach even before the season ends – Linges
Zwane is top-notch
I’ve always believed that this is one of the areas where Mangethe [Arthur Zwane] would truly shine, given his knack for scouting. He has a keen eye for talent, but management has the final say – Umzuvukile
Why didn’t Ntseki get his old role?
Why wasn’t Ntseki reinstated to his previous role as Technical Director? – Thembekani Dlamini
Grant CJ additional time
I propose extending his tenure as I reckon it will require some adjustment period for the players to adapt to his gameplay style. Constant alterations won’t benefit the team – Agri Growth Buzz
He can’t even field Mfundo Vilakazi
I doubt he’s even worthy of that position. He hasn’t given Vilakazi a chance, so how can we trust that the young talents will have opportunities to progress? – Thee Jab Star
Chiefs plagued by misfortune
With the Head of Youth showing little faith in young talent, it’s no wonder Kaizer Chiefs are struggling – Msunu Kanyoko
Chiefs could wrap up the season coachless
Johnson can go to his initial role now and let Chiefs finish the season without a coach please – Scelimpilo Cindi
Outdated Coaching?
Johnson is such an ineffective and outdated coach! My heart goes out to the youth structures too – Gandaganda
Exhausted Resources
What’s the club’s gain if Johnson can’t develop players? He should step aside; he’s run out of contributions – Khujoy Malatji
