United States: who shows what
- Sunday afternoon: CBS and FOX show the games for your local market. You can watch them free with an antenna, or through a cable or live-TV streaming service.
- Sunday night: NBC.
- Monday night: ESPN and ABC, plus the ESPN Unlimited streaming service.
- Thursday night: Prime Video, with the occasional exception.
- Netflix: selected games, including Christmas Day.
What NFL Sunday Ticket does and does not include
NFL Sunday Ticket gives you out-of-market Sunday afternoon games on CBS and FOX. It is available through YouTube and YouTube TV. It does not include games on Netflix, Prime Video, ESPN or NBC, and it does not cover your local team’s game if that is already on your local channel. Before you buy, check which games you actually want.
United Kingdom: Sky, Channel 5 and DAZN
Channel 5 shows two games live and free on Sundays. Sky Sports carries several live games a week, and DAZN offers NFL Game Pass for broader coverage. If you only want one or two games a week, the free option may be enough.
Canada: TSN, CTV, RDS and DAZN
Canadian coverage is split between the broadcast networks and DAZN Canada. DAZN’s regular subscription includes NFL Game Pass, which is the simplest way to catch more games.
Australia: free games and paid options
Some games are free on 7plus. For broader coverage, check the current paid provider on the official NFL international page, because this changes more often than in the other three countries.
Match the service to the way you watch
- Only your home team: your local channel, free with an antenna in the US.
- A team in another city: Sunday Ticket (US) or Game Pass (international).
- Fantasy football: RedZone-style coverage matters more than a single team. Check our fantasy football toolkit for tracking tools.
Before kick-off
- Look up the game on the official NFL schedule and note the broadcaster.
- Check that your plan includes it, then test the login.
- Keep a free backup, such as the local station or the free game in your country.
Avoid illegal streams. They break rights holders’ licences, often cut out during the game, and can expose your device to malware.
